Ashley Collins, LMSW
About
I am a Baltimore native, experienced in helping individuals that are adjusting to life transitions, both in their own lives and in relationships. I meet clients where they are and help them become more aware of how their current and past selves may have been affected by trauma and the general hardships of life.
Together my clients and I form treatment plans that help them learn new coping mechanisms, boundaries, and confidence through a holistic approach. Some of the modalities I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, and Solution-Focused Therapy. I am always adding new approaches to help my clients achieve their desired goals and be the best versions of themselves.
Experience
I have experience providing therapy in a variety of settings, including schools, outpatient mental health clinics, and individual practice. I have been a social worker for several years and have worked with foster youth and adults. I have also created community resource and mental health events in Baltimore and the surrounding counties.
